![]() Like with any new track, you can download it from the workshop here !ĭon’t let the laid back southern charm fool you, with its bucolic and peaceful surroundings, vast expanses of green grass, and lush trees that line the outer perimeter – NOLA hides intriguing surprises in its subtle cambers and gently flowing fast corners. As usual the ‘track team’ has gone to great lengths to bring NOLA to life in rFactor 2, and we think the results speak for themselves. This cooperation and open access to the track itself helped the ‘track team’ to create a highly accurate and realistic sim version of the real life track. "We’re incredibly excited to release this next track – it’s the first to be released under the Studio 397 banner! NOLA Motorsports Park, an entirely scratch built track, who’s development was greatly enhanced by the very close participation of the track’s representatives, in particular Scott Touchton. ![]() You can read the full release notes from Studio 397 below: The new track is available to download via Steam Workshop right now. The new NOLA Motorsports Park circuit features five main layouts and five additional karting configurations, ranging from short and technical to the full length Ind圜ar format. The track looks to be a very demanding and technical location, with many corners offering up different racing lines and requiring a considerable amount of commitment in higher powered vehicles. The release of the free NOLA track to rFactor 2 comes quickly on the heels of the recent build update 3 of the game deployed earlier today, and brings to rFactor 2 a circuit perhaps not too well know to race fans outside of the United States. To learn more about these, as well as the prices and overall review of the BTCC pack, take a look at our latest video now.Studio 397 have released NOLA Motorsports Park for rFactor 2, their first official track since taking over development of the simulation from Image Space Incorporated. However, ChampionJoe has a couple of big issues with the new DLC. Because of this, it’s certainly more tail-happy and a bit tougher to drive than its counterpart, but it more than makes up for it in terms of both fun and pace. Unlike the Toyota, the Q50 is a rear-wheel-drive car. As such, the Infiniti Q50 is the other new car. It wouldn’t make sense to add a BTCC pack without including the current championship winning machine in there somewhere. It can be very hard to get FWD cars right in racing sims, but Studio 397 have done a great job making the Corolla GR feel just right. Fans of front-wheel-drive cars will be happy to learn that the 2021 race winning Toyota Corolla GR is one of the additions. The Q2 Drop is Available Now! Let us know what you're most excited to try. Both tracks are very well implemented, and they can boast both a good feel and a good look in game. ![]() Alongside it is another ex-F1 and current BTCC circuit in the form of Donington Park. ![]() Brands Hatch, along with its shorter Brands Hatch Indy variant, is the first. Two classic names for those who know their stuff about British motorsport are being added to the sim. The pack consists of two tracks and two cars from the world of British Touring Cars, but what are they?įirst, the tracks. In place of a brand new BTCC game, Motorsport Games have decided to release new BTCC content in rFactor 2 as a paid DLC. In fact, new BTCC content is coming on to the simracing scene for the first time in literal decades. However, this doesn’t mean that they have given up on using the BTCC license altogether. The game was removed from their future content roadmap earlier this year. Sadly, it is now a certain fact that Motorsport Games will not be releasing a standalone BTCC game in 2022. The latest rFactor 2 content update includes two cars and tracks from the 2021 British Touring Car Championship.
